Free Mobile App Icons come with a liberal, flexible license, allowing mobile developers to copy, distribute and transmit icons as part of their work. They’re free to modify, remix and adapt icons, and they are allowed to use Free Mobile App Icons in commercial apps – as long as the attribution requirements are met. All we ask in return for using Free Mobile App Icons in your apps is placing a credit in your app (or a link on your Web site). The only thing you can’t do is re-selling the icons alone or as a part of a larger, repackaged mega-set.
Technically, the collection of free mobile app icons comes in a bunch of different resolutions. Sizes of 20×20, 30×30, 40×40, and 60×60 pixels are great for making toolbars, app bars and navigation bars for Apple iOS devices with standard and hi-pixel density screens. Icons in 16×16, 24×24, 26×26, and 48×48 pixels are supplied for Windows and cross-platform developers, while 48×48 pixel images are there for Windows Phone developers. All of the above resolutions are included.
All icons are presenting in matching style and gamma, and drawn in accordance with corresponding devices’ Icon Design Guidelines. For example, icons designed for Apple iPod Touch/iPad/iPhone devices are monochrome, as iOS will render them in the appropriate color automatically. WP7 icons have their actual image located in the center of a 26×26 pixel square with transparent borders. Windows Phone icons are available in black, silver and white versions, with and without circles.
