UserGate Mail Server is the solution for a company’s secure mail service. The program works with all Windows mail clients, is not overly demanding of system resources and is easy to setup.
UserGate Mail Server’s main features are: domains and users management, web client, distribution lists support, directory service and remote accounts support, LDAP support as well as a powerful and flexible rules system. The server has a clear interface and remote administering capabilities. That’s why its management is easy and convenient, even for the regular user who is not very experienced in setting up programs.
To provide secure mail access, the program supports SSL, POP3, SMTP, and IMAP protocols. In addition, UserGate Mail Server has integrated and highly effective anti-virus and anti-spam modules.
The primary anti-spam module is based on Commtouch’s analysis engine, which is used by many software producers and hardware solutions (3Com, CheckPoint, G-Data, F-Secure, Panda, and others). The engine is based on the content analysis technology Recurrent Pattern Detection?, which is able to detect spam in any language.
The SpamAssassin engine is used as an additional anti-spam module. This engine combines a large volume of spam analysis, recognition, and blocking methods.
